Before I went to New Hythe I had my garden net up for a while and caught just one bird,a male Reed Bunting.It was a re trap,a bird I had ringed in the garden as an adult on the 23 02 2010.I also re trapped it during December 2011,on the 19th.
This just goes to show how  some birds rely on us to put out food for them during the winter months.
